Inspirational tapestry weaving

When I was planning Project 7, a friend recommended that I investigate Tapestry weaving. I borrowed several books from the library and decided to buy “Tapestry Weaving” by Kirsten Glasbrook. I am absolutely stunned by her work – it has incredible shading and detail. It’s like looking at a painting. I contacted Kirsten and have purchased one of her pieces – Lifeline 1. Kirsten has created it using cotton warp and weft of hand dyed Nepalese nettle yarn and natural raw silk.
