Warp 17 – 10th piece

I worked out how many more pieces I would be able to weave. Since tying the warp halves together, I have woven ~283cm – this gets me to where the halves are knotted together, so half way. This means that I can weave another 5 pieces of 48cm long with 2cm gaps and have a little warp left over. If there is enough left, I will weave some bookmarks.

I decided that the 10th piece would be woven with all of the purples that are about the same size as 10/2 cotton and a 4 point twill treadling, again with a 212343 pattern repeat.

I ended up weaving the colours as follows:
Radiant orchid 10/2 – 13 repetitions
DMC No8 perle 208 – 2 repetitions
DMC 6-strand 333 – 2 repetitions (I used 3 strands)
Purple rayon – 1 repetition
DMC No8 perle 550 – 2 repetitions
DMC metallic 6-strand E718 – 1 repetition (I used 3 strands)
Then the colours in reverse from DMC No8 perle 550 back out to
Radiant orchid 10/2 – 4 repetitions

Repeat twice, end with 13 repetitions of Radiant orchid 10/2 cotton.

On loom, with tension off, the fabric measures 48cm.
