Once I finished, the completed fabric was cut from the loom, measured, washed by hand in warm water with a gentle detergent, loose ends trimmed and pressed with a warm iron set to “silk”. The fabric was then dried, worked by hand to soften and labels sewn on by hand (3 rounds of small stitches in each corner of the label & knotted with a wrap of thread around the stitches).
