I decided to weave this piece using Tie-up #1. The weft colour sequence is Fog/Black/White.
I began by weaving 2 picks of opposites (treadles 1 & 8) and hemstitching in Fog. I then wove:
2 x X treadles (1-4), 3 x XY treadles (1-8), 2 x Y treadles (5-8) with Fog yarn, followed by the same treadle sequence using Black yarn and then again with White yarn
I ended by weaving 2 picks of opposites and hemstitching in White.
