At the start of August 2021, I ordered a floor loom from Louet – 8-shaft David III, 110cm. It arrived this week – 3 boxes came on the mail, 1 per day for 3 days!

Yesterday I began the assembly process and finished it this afternoon. I am SO happy with this loom. It looks fantastic! I can’t wait to start weaving on it!! It is a huge step up from my Ashford 4-shaft table loom that I bought second hand for $50!

The instruction manual was pretty good and together with the assembly video on the Louet website, I was able to do most of the work myself. Husband helped when I simply couldn’t match the parts with the pictures in the manual or on the video and at a couple of places where 4 hands were really useful.
