Last night, I finished weaving the 16 epi/16 ppi portion of this warp. I cut the warp after the last table napkin, cut between each of the samples, measured them, washed them in warm water on a normal machine cycle, dried them overnight, ironed them and remeasured them. The 3 samples shrank by 1cm of warp (from 11cm to 10cm) and about 1cm in weft (from ~51cm to ~50cm).
I am REALLY pleased with the twill fabrics. The 16epi plainweave is also very nice. The 2/2 twill is nice and the 1/3 twill is gorgeous. All have good structure and integrity. They get softer and drapier as you move from plain to 2/2 twill to 1/3 twill. I would happily weave twills with 5/2 cotton at 16epi again.
