Warp 37 – Warp completed – Weaving from Paradise

Once I finished weaving the 2nd scarf, I removed all of the fabric from the loom and cut the two pieces apart. Both were washed by hand in cold water, loose ends trimmed, pressed on silk setting and hung to dry overnight. Once dry, the pieces were measured, weighted and labels sewn on.

The finished fabric is beautiful! Soft & drapey. I like the contrast of the four types of silk in the second scarf. There is less shrinkage in the mulberry silk section of the second scarf.
