We were away for a few weeks and so weaving was on hold. I started the 2nd piece on Warp 28 on 26 May and finished it today, 4 June. I have only woven a small amount each day – between 15 minutes and 45 minutes – and some days did not weave at all.

This piece is woven using white & light green 5/2 mercerised cotton & black 8/2 mercerised cotton as the warp (16epi) with white & various colours of 5/2 mercerised cotton & black 8/2 mercerised cottons for the weft (~16ppi).

The weft was woven using plainweave (13, 24) as follows:
2 picks and hemstitch in radiant orchid (purplish)
4 picks radiant orchid
