After leaving a 4cm gap after the sample piece, I wove 2 alternating picks of basketweave and hemstitched using 5/2 unmercerised black cotton. This will also be the weft for this entire piece. I wove a TAW 4-thread point twill pattern (1 2 3 4 3 2 repeat). This is exactly the same pattern and yarn as for the 3rd piece.

I measured the length of the weaving using T-pins. After weaving about 33cm, I wove 2 picks of alternating basketweave and hemstitched.
