It’s taken me a while to wind the warp for this project – it involves a lot of colour switching. This is the warp thread sequence:
I was almost finished winding the cedar green when I ran out of yarn! I needed another 6 lengths, so I grabbed 10/2 cedar green and used a double thread of it to finish the colour.
Once the warp was wound, it was a relatively simple matter to get it spread in the raddle, wound onto the loom, heddles threaded (Wall of Troy L-R 4321234321), reed sleyed (10dpi, 1,2,2,2 to get 18epi), tied to the front apron rod and the header rows woven.
