This series all use the same weft treadling – TAW Unit substitution. Each piece was woven in stripes from a single colour family – all the blues, all the reds, all the oranges and all the greens – and is about 32cm long.

I wove 3 repetition of the unit substitution pattern in each of the colours
All the blues = Denim blue, Dazzling blue and Scuba blue
All the reds = Radiant orchid, Honeysuckle and Chilli pepper
All the oranges = Freesia, Celosia orange, Friar brown
All the greens = Cedar green, Green glow, Cedar green.

I hemstitched on 2 picks of alternating basketweave at each end.
