Warp 14 – Planning & winding the warp

I decided to weave the small threadings gamp from Season 4, episode 3 of the Jane Stafford videos. It’s a 2/2 twill with 6 different warp threading sequences, each separated by an orange band:
1) Straight draw
2) Point twill
3) Herringbone (6 thread broken twill)
4) Wall of Troy (Assymetrical point twill)
5) Rosepath/Bird’s eye (5 thread point twill)
6) Herringbone (4 thread broken twill)

Warp – 5/2 cotton
Weft – 5/2 cotton
Warp length – 4m
Total number of ends – 234
EPI – 18

I wound the warp in the following sequence:

Once the warp was wound, I tied the cross with 4 threads and made a tight chain.
