Warp 13 – Playing with twill, 3rd piece

I found a mixed twill pattern in “Handweaver’s pattern directory” by Anne Dixon (p39), I entered the pattern into the Weaveit software and used my iPhone to track my treadling. I made NO treadling errors!!

First, I threw 2 picks of plainweave, then I hemstitched and wove. At the end, I threw 2 more picks of plainweave and hemstitched. The beating for this piece was interesting – on the 1/3 twill pattern (or is it 3/1 twill???) it’s easy to pack the weft under the preceding pick.
