I left a 10cm gap after the first table napkin.
I threw 2 picks of plainweave with chilli pepper 5/2 cotton from the right and hemstitched the start of the fabric. When I reached the left side of the fabric, it was quite pulled in – I think that I need to pull less on the hemstitching thread.
This was followed by another 2 picks of red and then
6.5cm DDL (16ppi)
4 picks red
6.5cm DDLL (15-16ppi)
4 picks red
6.5cm DLDDL (16-17ppi)
4 picks red
6.5cm DDDDLLLL (16ppi)
4 picks red
6.5cm DLDDL (16-17ppi)
4 picks red
6.5cm DDLL (15-16ppi)
4 picks red
6.5cm DDL (16ppi)
4 picks red – the last 2 picks were hemstitched. This hemstitching was much nicer! I need to leave a longer end when I’m not pulling each stitch tight.
Near the middle of the final DDL section, I made a mistake and wove a DL instead of DDL (see final photo)
