After completing the pattern section of the weaving, I threw two picks of white from the right side so that I ended on the right side. I then hem-stitched across the end.

I recently bought a Saori clipping/tying rod and have been wanting to try it. This rod allows you to remove a piece from the loom before the entire warp length has been woven. So now I’m ready to begin the 2nd piece.
The next step was to wash the finished cloth – I used a warm cycle in the washing machine. The cloth was then dried flat, loose ends trimmed and the fringe trimmed to ~6cm.
